About Us

Glenn Fox, classically trained, offers concerts and residencies targeted especially to children and youth, although he performs for 'children' of all ages.  A typical five day residency has initial materials sent in advance, then four rehearsal days with students, followed by a rousing performance with the children and youth on stage, Glenn Fox as MC and soloist, and all accompanied by the Glenn Fox band.  It rocks!  The concert can be a formal evening event, or a day-time performance during school hours.

Glenn Fox began performing arias at the age of five, winning various choral contests during his childhood. Encouraged by musical relatives and family, he studied piano, voice, and dance throughout high school and performed in musicals and choral events, often as a soloist.

At the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill he sang in the famed “Carolina Choir” under the direction of Dr. Laura Hoggard. It was there that he first met and performed with Dave Brubeck in the world premiere of Mr. Brubeck’s first oratorio, “The Light in the Wilderness”.

After undergraduate studies, Glenn enrolled in the conservatory of the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Although his concentration was classical piano, it was there he first performed with guitar for the Austrian-American society. This led to membership in the “Kammerchor Mentleberg” and to many concerts throughout northern and central Europe.

Returning to America, he continued his musical studies in Boston, Massachusetts. Through a television appearance, he received an invitation to perform for the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. This premier performance was his springboard to concert and television appearances throughout the country.
